My name is Lorrie and I live in Baton Rouge, LA. When I was a girl, I never said 'When I grow up, I think I'll run an online pattern shop', (we didn't even have online then!), but here I am.
The pattern business started when I purchased a huge lot of patterns because I didn't have time to sort through them onsite. I listed the extras in my Artfire shop and it took over from there. I was soon buying pattern lots at a variety of estate and other sale and grew to love the vintage designs and marketing details and the business started growing.
I am now focusing on vintage crochet, knitting and craft patterns that meet the conditions of being in the public domain. I take these old patterns, scan them to word documents, change the formatting, carefully proofread and put back together with the enhanced original photographs. and convert to a PDF document. These reworked documents are bright and clean, 1 1/2 line spacing for ease of use, with charts (if appropriate) and pictures included. I believe you will enjoy working with the patterns.
One note: I put a copyright notice on these patterns. I acknowledge these are public domain documents and I am not trying to claim ownership of them. I am claiming ownership of them in the specific format. You are free to use these patterns, sell the items you make, or whatever you wish. I simple ask that you do not resell the specific patterns that I have spent extensive time reworking.
I do not make a living from these pattern sales. A portion is reinvested in the business in the form of more patterns and site expenses and the rest goes to my Grandgirls College Funds.
I thank you for your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
